    5 Common Web Hosting Myths

Below we’ve listed some of the most common myths about Web Hosting – if you can think of another one or have a question about of these, please let us know info@bemorelonline.co.uk:

Myth: “Web hosting means having a website designed for me.”

Web hosting is the platform on which you can build a website. We make it really easy for you to build your own website or we can build you a website. Just contact us for more details.

Myth: “Making a website is really complicated.”

We have one-click installs of popular content management systems such as WordPress. In a couple of clicks you can have a fully functional website with hundreds of features. Alternatively, you might want to check out our Web Builder. It’s even easier to use thanks to drag-and-drop functionality – no coding needed.

Myth: “Email is really hard to set up.”

We’ve made it easy to create email accounts straight from your control panel. Just go to ‘Email Accounts’ in your control panel to set up and manage your email. From there, you’ll be able to log in to stackmail.com to access it on the go.

Myth: “It doesn’t matter whether I pick shared hosting or WordPress hosting.”

If you’re just intending to build a WordPress website (and use email), go for WordPress hosting for the best experience. If you aren’t planning to use WordPress, want to install additional software, have files outside of WordPress, or think you might move away from WordPress in the future, our standard shared platform is a better choice.

Myth: “Domains, hosting and websites are all the same thing.”

A domain refers to your website’s name (address, or URL eg www.bemoreonline.co.uk). Hosting is the underlying technology that powers websites.

If you have a Web Hosting question and were too afraid to ask, we are super friendly and here to help, so just shout – or better still, send us an email info@bemoreonline.co.uk
